  • How long is strawberry season?

    Strawberry season is typically from February – July, but it depends on the weather. It’s best to check our website or call our office at (760) 603-9608 if you have questions.

  • How big are the strawberry fields?

    We currently have 14 acres of strawberries planted.

  • How many strawberry stands do you have?

    We have three strawberry stands: two in Carlsbad and one in Del Mar. The u-pick experience is only available at 1050 Cannon Rd, Carlsbad 92008.

  • What time do you open?

    Strawberry U-Pick: Daily 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (last tickets sold at 4:30 pm)


    Strawberry Stands:

    • Del Mar Stand: 9:00 am – 4:30 pm
    • Flower Fields and Cannon Stand: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

  • Does weather affect times of operation?

    Yes. We may need to close the stand in case of rain or if the fields are too muddy. Please call (760) 603-9608 to double-check our hours of operation.

  • Do I need a reservation?

    No, we don't offer reservations. We are walk-in only, first come, first served. We recommend arriving earlier in the day when it’s less busy and cooler.

  • Are there age restrictions to pick strawberries?

    No, everyone is welcome to enjoy the fields! Please keep in mind that we are a working farm, so surfaces may be unlevel in some areas. 

  • Is the farm wheelchair/stroller accessible?

    Yes, for the most part. However, the rows between the strawberry plants are too narrow for wheelchairs or strollers. There is plenty of room on the sides near the main paths and farm stand & vendors. All of our other activities are accessible.

  • Is there parking at the farm?

    Yes and parking is free!

  • What should I bring/wear?

    Bring sunscreen, water, and closed-toed shoes. The farm can be muddy or dusty depending on the weather.

  • What forms of payment are accepted?

    We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and Apple Pay.

  • How does U-Pick work?

    • After parking, head to the front of our fruit stand. 
    • Choose your admission type: with a u-pick bucket or without. I
    • f selecting a u-pick bucket, you’ll receive a container at the stand before entering the fields. 
    • Fill your bucket, taste a few strawberries, and enjoy your time at our farm!
  • How big is the U-Pick bucket?

    Each container holds about 2lbs of strawberries (32 oz).

  • Can I bring my own U-Pick bucket?

    No, we kindly ask that you use the bucket we provide. Outside containers are not allowed in the fields.

  • Is there a U-Pick time limit?

    No. Customers can enjoy the fields for as long as they like, except when we are closing for the day.

  • Are your fields Organic?

    Even though our farm is not certified organic, we are deeply committed to responsible farming practices that prioritize fruit quality, environmental stewardship, and food safety. We carefully manage our fields to grow high-quality, sweet strawberries while maintaining a safe and enjoyable experience for our guests.

  • Are your fields pesticide-free?

    While we are not pesticide-free, treatments are only applied when necessary to protect the health of our plants. Any recently treated sections are clearly marked and temporarily closed to the public. We strictly follow all safety regulations and required waiting periods to ensure the safety of our guests and team.

  • Do you allow dogs?

    Yes, we allow dogs. During strawberry season, they are not allowed inside the rows of the fields due to food safety concerns, but they are welcome everywhere else on the property.

  • Can I put strawberries on hold?

    No. We do not reserve strawberries in advance, including holidays like Valentine’s Day, Easter, and Mother’s Day. All strawberries are first come, first served.

  • Do you charge a photographer’s fee?

    No, we do not charge a fee for photographers. Admission must be purchased, and please respect staff privacy by not photographing our employees.
