Strawberries are at the heart of our farm, and we take pride in growing some of the sweetest, juiciest berries around! From planting to picking, each strawberry is carefully nurtured to ensure the best flavor and quality for our visitors to enjoy.
The Growing Process 🌱➡️🍓
- Resting the Land (August): Before planting, we give the soil time to rest to ensure a healthy growing environment.
- Soil Preparation (September): We shape raised beds and install drip irrigation to provide the perfect growing conditions.
- Planting (October): Young strawberry plants are placed into the beds and watered carefully to establish strong roots.
- Early Growth (November-December): Plants develop green leaves and small white flowers, also known as “popcorn,” which signal the start of fruit production.
- Berry Development (January-February): Tiny green strawberries begin to grow, gradually turning red as they ripen.
- Harvest Time: Fully ripened strawberries are carefully hand-picked to ensure peak sweetness and freshness!
